Technical Accounting Team
Camilla Kasaval
Technical Accountant
Camilla studied Accounting at the University of Free State. Since then she has gained valuable experience by working in both Accounting and
Insurance roles and in the revenue service. Camilla joined Sigma in January 2015 and has since been an integral part of the team, where she
maintains Monthly management accounts and assists with annual audits, financial statement requirements and statutory returns.
Jean Ho
Technical Accountant
Accounting and Administration
Jean has been involved in financial accounting for more than 18 years and has vast accounting experience in accounting firms, having also
worked as financial manager in various companies. Employed at SRS for the last 6 years as Technical Accountant, Jean has been handling all
financial accounting and statutory submissions for various captive insurance clients of SRS.
Jean's prior work experience includes an Australian stock-broking firm, where she acquired knowledge of stock exchange requirements,
devised and designed general ledger accounting systems for several group companies that dealt with client monies, share trading
profits and losses, and capital adequacy reporting and monitoring.
Legal & Compliance
Morne Steenkamp
Legal and Compliance, Secretarial, CIPC
Morne is not known for taking the conventional route. After spending considerable time on community development projects in West Africa,
Central Asia, and Europe he obtained his master’s degree in Theology from the University of Pretoria. He spent several years working as
a minister in Gauteng before starting to work in the Insurance Industry as a Customer Service Specialist. In 2014 Morne moved to a Compliance
Auditor role and has since obtained qualifications in Business Management from Milpark Business School and Compliance Management from the
University of Cape Town. Morne has also successfully completed the FAIS regulatory examinations and several business courses.

Jadyrien Subrayen
Claims Manager
Jadyrien Subrayen (affectionately known as “JD”) matriculated in 2007 and thereafter attended UKZN, where he obtained my Honours in
Criminology. JD worked as an investigator for 2 years, specializing in corporate fraud and the submission of irregular insurance
claims. At Sigma, JD’s job portfolio entails management of the entire claims process from start to finish as to ensure that claims are
processed timeously. In JD’s words: “while wearing the Sigma Blue, our service can be compared to water, we aim to provide a service which
is fluid, moves silently and can be expanded to fulfil your company requirements.”
Sean Steynberg
Claim Assessor
Sean Steynberg matriculated in 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Management from Unisa (2017) . Sean obtained
valuable experience whilst working at a large Insurance Company in long-term insurance, investments and retirement planning. At Sigma Sean
is involved in the entire claims process which includes oversight and assessment of new claims.
